Expert Hearing Care has partnered with humm to provide financing options across a range of products and technology levels. Our clients can now access up to 36 months* interest-free payment plans, so you can own the hearing aid you want today and pay as you hear over time—interest free!

Hearing Services Program
Government Support for Pensioners and Veterans
The Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP) offers fully subsidised hearing aids and ongoing support for eligible pensioners and veterans.
Who is eligible?
You can access this program if you hold one of the following:
- Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card
- DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) Pensioner Card
- White Health Repatriation Card (for hearing loss)
- Gold Health Repatriation Card
National Disability Insurance Scheme
If you're an NDIS participant, you may be able to access funding for hearing services and products. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support for Australians with permanent and significant disabilities, helping you get the hearing solutions you need to improve your quality of life.
Private Health Insurance
Your private health insurance may help cover the cost of hearing aids. Many providers include hearing services in their extras cover, offering either full or partial coverage for new devices. Contact your insurer to learn what benefits are available under your plan.
Workers compensation
Here are several redrafted options:
Option 1 (Clear and informative): Workers Compensation provides financial support to employees who are injured or become ill due to their work. If you've experienced hearing loss caused by workplace conditions—most commonly noise exposure—you may be eligible for Workers Compensation coverage.
Eligibility criteria vary by state and territory, so it's important to check the requirements in your location.
MyAged Care Home Package
MyAged Care Home Care Package
For clients over 65: Your MyAged Care Home Care Package may include contributions toward hearing aids. If you have hearing services covered in your package, please mention this to your Expert Hearing Care clinician at your appointment.
*Pay As You Hear Terms and Conditions
Available to approved applicants only. The interest-free period varies based on the value of the hearing aid you choose. Minimum monthly repayments are required. Paying only the minimum monthly repayment will not pay out the purchase within the interest-free period. Any balance outstanding at the expiry of the interest-free period will be charged interest at the contractual rate, currently 19.9% p.a. for new approved applicants. A one-off establishment fee applies for new approved applicants. A monthly account service fee of $6 (when balance owing) applies. See your contract for details.
